This topic describes how to switch between the subscription and pay-as-you-go billing methods.
Switch from pay-as-you-go to subscription
If you use the pay-as-you-go billing method, you can switch to the subscription billing method on the Overview page of the console.
After you switch from pay-as-you-go to subscription, you can no longer use the five free application instances provided with the pay-as-you-go billing method.
Log on to the EDAS console. In the upper-right corner of the Overview page, click Switch to Subscription.
In the Switch to Subscription dialog box, click Start Conversion.
On the purchase page, select the subscription edition and the number of application instances that you want to purchase. Then, complete the payment.
Switch from subscription to pay-as-you-go
If you use the subscription billing method and want to switch to pay-as-you-go, submit a ticket to request a refund before your subscription expires. After the refund is processed, you can enable the pay-as-you-go billing method in the EDAS console.
If your subscription has expired, you must first renew it with the same specifications. Then, submit a ticket to request a refund. After the refund is processed, you can enable the pay-as-you-go billing method.
Log on to the EDAS console. At the top of the page, click .
On the Submit Ticket page, on the Select Product tab, search for Enterprise Distributed Application Service.
In the Select issue type section, click Purchase/Upgrade/Downgrade/Renewal/Billing/Bills/Unsubscribe. On the Describe issue tab, select a Severity level, enter a Description, and then click Submit.
After the ticket is processed, log on to the EDAS console again. A message appears, indicating that Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) is not enabled. Follow the on-screen instructions to enable the pay-as-you-go billing method for EDAS.
After you enable the pay-as-you-go billing method, the existing application instances are not affected.
Between the time you receive the refund and when you enable the pay-as-you-go billing method, your services in EDAS continue to run. However, your access to the console is restricted. Enable the service promptly.
