Feature name | Description | Type | References |
Upgraded management capabilities for Kubernetes applications | Enables managing EDAS applications natively in Kubernetes and deploying applications directly using Helm. | New feature
Support for the ARM architecture when you deploy Kubernetes applications from WAR or JAR packages | Enables building images for the ARM architecture and deploying them to ARM-based Kubernetes clusters when deploying Kubernetes applications from WAR or JAR packages. | New feature
Support for startup probes for Kubernetes applications | Allows you to configure startup probes when creating or deploying Kubernetes applications. | New feature |

Feature name | Description | Type | References |
Support for StatefulSet applications | Supports the creation of stateful applications of the StatefulSet type to enrich the types of managed applications. | New feature
Dynamic log configuration | Supports runtime modification of log configurations that take effect immediately. You can add multiple preset configurations to enable as needed and restore the original application configuration at any time. The configuration takes effect at the instance and group levels to facilitate troubleshooting. | New feature |
|
Support for custom volumes | Supports mounting volumes to sidecar containers by configuring custom volumes when you create or deploy an application. This improves the deployment configuration of Kubernetes applications. | New feature
Canary Release and End-to-end Swimlane Integration | Supports end-to-end canary releases based on lane-based canary policies. | New feature |

Feature name | Description | Type | References |
Shorter upgrade path to a cloud-native architecture | Supports creating Kubernetes applications from ECS applications to convert applications on virtual machines (VMs) to cloud-native containerized applications with one click. | New feature
Deeper and continuous integration | Integrates Kubernetes applications with task scheduling to enhance professional features such as phased release, canary release, and end-to-end canary release. | New feature
Reusable policies | Supports saving and selecting canary release rule policies when you deploy a Kubernetes application. A policy can be shared and reused across organizations. | Optimization | Use the console to perform a canary release for a Kubernetes application |
Zero-latency Auto Scaling | During automatic scaling, metrics are predicted based on metric playback and the Advanced Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (AHPA) intelligent prediction algorithm. Proactive scale-out helps avoid issues such as scaling trigger delays, application resource readiness delays, and application cold start delays. This ensures that applications are ready when online traffic arrives. | Optimization |

Feature name | Description | Type | References |
More sources for application creation | Supports creating EDAS Kubernetes applications from Deployment YAML files. | New feature
Support for connecting to SchedulerX when you create an ECS application | Supports connecting to SchedulerX when you create an ECS application. For ECS applications that are connected to SchedulerX, you can specify a task scheduling ratio during a canary release. | New feature
Support for multi-container pods and init containers | Supports configuring multi-container pods and init containers for an application when you create or deploy a Kubernetes application. | Add
Enhanced service authentication | Supports service access control at the API or method level for application-to-application and MSE Gateway-to-application communication. Supports enabling HTTP replay attack protection policies. | New feature | Use service authentication to implement access control for Spring Cloud applications |
Support for new JDK versions | Supports new JDK versions, including OpenJDK 17, Dragonwell 11, and Dragonwell 17. | New feature | None |
Support for scaling based on the number of associated application instances | Allows the number of instances for the current application to maintain a specific ratio to the number of instances for a target application. | New feature
Support for scaling based on Prometheus metrics | Allows you to query metric data from Prometheus instances during automatic scaling. | New feature
Optimized Cloud Native Kit | Optimizes the interaction logic for creating and debugging pods. Improves the user experience of uploading and downloading large files using the file browser. | Optimization | None |

MSE Gateway routing | EDAS is deeply integrated with Microservice Engine (MSE) Cloud Native Gateway to provide more powerful gateway features and a consistent console experience. MSE Cloud Native Gateway is a next-generation gateway compatible with the Kubernetes Ingress standard. It combines traditional traffic gateways with microservice gateways, which reduces resource overhead by 50%. MSE Cloud Native Gateway supports various service discovery methods, such as EDAS service registries, ACK container services, and MSE Nacos. It also supports multiple authentication and logon methods to help you quickly build a security perimeter. | New feature |
