This topic describes the unified process for becoming a product ecosystem partner and joining Alibaba Cloud Marketplace.

Procedure

  1. Create an Alibaba Cloud account. For more information, see Alibaba Cloud Account Registration Process.

  2. Complete the enterprise real-name verification. For more information, see Enterprise Real-Name Verification.

  3. Apply to join Alibaba Cloud Marketplace.

    1. Go to the Alibaba Cloud Marketplace Service Provider Recruitment page.

    2. Click Join Product Ecosystem & Cloud Marketplace to apply.

    3. Click Service Provider Onboarding, fill in the required information, and check the agreement box. Then, click Submit Application.

      The required information includes Company Contact (contact name, phone number, and email address), Office Information (click Add Office), and Contract Contact Information (contact name, mobile number, and email address). All fields marked with a red asterisk are required.

      • If this is your first time applying, follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your identity, complete your company information, and provide your business qualifications.

      • If you have applied before, follow the on-screen instructions to provide your business qualifications.

    4. After you submit your application, wait for the Alibaba Cloud Marketplace review.

      If your application's status changes, the system will notify you by text message email. You can also return to the Alibaba Cloud Marketplace Service Provider Recruitment page and check your application status in the Service Provider Onboarding section.

  4. Sign the Alibaba Cloud Marketplace contract.

    1. In the Service Provider Onboarding section of the Alibaba Cloud Marketplace Service Provider Recruitment page, click View Progress.

    2. On the Sign Contract page, sign the Alibaba Cloud Product Ecosystem Partner Agreement and the Cloud Marketplace Service Provider Onboarding Agreement.

      After you sign the agreements, a success message appears. Click Next to pay the deposit.

  5. Pay the deposit. For more information, see Deposit Rules and Payment Methods.

    1. Go to the Deposit page in the Alibaba Cloud Billing Management console.

    2. In the row for Alibaba Cloud General Deposit, click Top up and complete the online payment.

    3. If you pay by corporate bank transfer, find the dedicated corporate account number on the deposit payment page and use it to make the transfer. After the transfer is complete, claim the payment by clicking Claim Remittance. For more information, see Corporate Bank Transfer.

  6. Submit a ticket.

    1. Go to the Alibaba Cloud ticketing system.

    2. On the Submit a Ticket page, select Cloud Marketplace in Product Category, and then click Submit.

    3. In the problem description field, enter a summary such as: [Company Name] onboarding for [Specific Marketplace] in Alibaba Cloud Marketplace. A deposit of 30,000 CNY has been paid. Requesting to freeze the deposit.

    4. After the deposit is paid and frozen, the onboarding process is complete, and your Alibaba Cloud Marketplace store becomes active.
