Modify the global default calendar

Simple Log Service provides the global default calendar to synchronize business days and holidays across time zones and countries. You can modify the default time zone, business days, and holidays.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Simple Log Service console.

  2. Go to the Global Default Calendar tab.

    1. In the Projects section, click a project.

    2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.

    3. On the Alert Center page, choose Notification Management > Global Default Calendar.

  3. Configure the calendar settings.

    1. Click Calendar Settings.

    2. In the Calendar Settings dialog box, set the following parameters.

      Parameter

      Description

      Time Zone

      Select a time zone based on your region.

      Business Days

      Select the range of business days.

      Non-Business Days

      Select a country to define non-business days.

      • Ignore: Does not sync non-business days with any national calendar.

      • China (update in real time): Syncs non-business days with the official Chinese holiday calendar.

      • United States: Syncs non-business days with the official US holiday calendar.

      Business Hours

      Select the range of business hours.

    3. Click OK.

  4. Reset the date and time.

    1. Click Create/Reset.

    2. In the Reset Date and Time dialog box, set the following parameters.

      Parameter

      Description

      Date

      Select a date range for business days or holidays.

      Type

      Specify the date type. Valid values: Business Days and Holidays.

      Description

      Enter a description for the business days or holidays.

      Color

      Select a color to display the business days or holidays in the calendar.

      Period

      Select a time range for the business days or holidays.

      Note
      • If you specify business days as holidays, we recommend that you select All Day.

      • If you specify holidays as business days, we recommend that you select a specific time range.

    3. Click Save.
