If you have questions about card messages, see the following FAQ and solutions.
Can I use my purchased SMS package to pay for Mobi messages?
Text message packages do not apply to card messages.
How do I enable Card SMS?
Card SMS is currently available by invitation only. To request activation, contact your Alibaba Cloud account manager or Alibaba Cloud Pre-sales Consultation.
How can I make a button in the message content open an app?
The button in a text message that redirects to a mobile app is a feature provided by third-party mobile phone manufacturers and is not controlled by Alibaba Cloud Short Message Service. To achieve this functionality, you can enable the Card SMS feature of Short Message Service.
To learn about Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS), see What is Multimedia Messaging Service?. To learn how to send card messages, see Send Card Messages.
Do card messages in Short Message Service support line breaks?
Templates with images and text do not support line breaks. Only carousel templates support line breaks, with a maximum of 11 lines. If you submit a template that contains images, text, and line breaks, the content may not display correctly and the template will be rejected. For more information, see Mobi template specifications.
How to view card message sending details?
You can view the sending details for Mobi messages in two ways:
Call the QueryCardSmsTemplateReport API operation to view the sending details.
In the Short Message Service console, view the sending details on the page.
How to check if your mobile phone supports card messages?
Currently, card messages in mainland China are supported on Android mobile phones, but not on iOS mobile phones. You can call the QueryMobilesCardSupport API to verify whether a mobile phone number supports the card message feature.
What to do if a card message fails to send?
You can troubleshoot the issue as follows:
Call the QueryCardSmsTemplateReport API to check if the mobile phone model supports the card messaging feature.
Log on to the Short Message Service console and check if the Mobi template is approved for the phone manufacturer.
Check if the API operation was called successfully. If the call returned an error, see Mobi error codes for details.
Why am I getting a customurl.NotFound error when sending a card message?
Cause: The content for customUrl was not found. Check the parameters that you specified. Solution: Make sure that the parameters are correct as described in the SendCardSms API operation document.
What is the validity period of a card SMS template?
Approved card SMS templates typically do not expire.
