Database Autonomy Service (DAS) Enterprise Edition and O&M Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition) provide powerful database operations and maintenance (O&M) features. These features help you quickly identify and resolve database issues, optimize performance, improve efficiency, and significantly reduce operational costs. This topic describes how to enable DAS Enterprise Edition and manage DAS Enterprise Edition and O&M Services (formerly DAS Economy Edition).

Prerequisites

If you are a RAM user and need to purchase DAS Enterprise Edition, you must have the administrator of your Alibaba Cloud account grant the AliyunHDMFullAccess access policy to your RAM user. For more information, see Grant permissions to a RAM user.

Supported databases and regions

For the databases and regions supported by each DAS edition, see Product editions.

Manage DAS enterprise edition and O&M services

Important
  • You can no longer create new instances of Enterprise Edition V0, V1, or V2, and you cannot increase the quota for Enterprise Edition V1. You can migrate Enterprise Edition V1 and V2 with a storage duration of no more than 30 days to Enterprise Edition V3 for free. Before the migration is complete, you are billed based on your current edition. After the migration is complete, you are billed based on the target edition.

  • The Economy Edition is being gradually phased out after its upgrade to O&M Services. To continue using the service, you must enable O&M Services. You can unsubscribe from the Economy Edition on the Service Management tab of the Instances page to avoid further charges.
