Billing components
Your total billable usage is based on API calls and use of the visual lightweight application.

Pay-per-page
document analysis (large model edition): For PDF, Word, and PowerPoint files, billing is based on the actual number of pages. For images, each image is counted as one page. For files such as Excel, HTML, EPUB, and MOBI, the number of pages is calculated based on the character count, where one page equals 2,000 Chinese characters or 2,000 English words.
electronic document analysis: For PDF files, billing is based on the actual number of pages. For other supported formats such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, EPUB, and MOBI, the number of pages is calculated based on the character count, where one page equals 2,000 Chinese characters or 2,000 English words.
intelligent document analysis: For PDF, Word, and PowerPoint files, billing is based on the actual number of pages. For images, each image is counted as one page.
Free quota
When you activate the document analysis (large model edition) and electronic document analysis services, you receive a free quota of 3,000 pages per month.
When you activate the intelligent document analysis and intelligent table analysis services, your account receives a one-time free quota of 100 pages, valid until exhausted.
When you activate the document format conversion service, your account receives a one-time free quota of 1,000 pages, valid until exhausted.
When you activate the OCR document self-learning service, your account receives a one-time free quota of 500 calls, valid until exhausted. You can use this quota for both API calls and the visual lightweight application. After the free quota is exhausted, subsequent usage is deducted from a resource pack or billed using the Pay-As-You-Go model.

Resource packs
document format conversion resource pack: Available in various sizes to fit your business needs. Packs are purchased with a one-time payment, and are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Pay-As-You-Go
After you activate a service, if your free quota and resource packs are exhausted, billing automatically switches to the Pay-As-You-Go method. This method bills for your actual usage with no upper limit. Billing is based on a tiered pricing model calculated over a calendar month. When your call volume reaches a new pricing tier, the corresponding rate applies. Charges are deducted from your account monthly, with a bill generated on the first day of the following month. For Pay-As-You-Go billing, bills are issued and charges are deducted monthly. However, to ensure payment security, Alibaba Cloud checks your available account balance hourly to determine if there are overdue payments that could trigger a service suspension. Ensure your account has a sufficient balance to avoid service disruptions.
Billing and payment rules
Usage is deducted in the following order: free quota -> resource pack -> Pay-As-You-Go. To prevent service interruption, the system automatically switches to Pay-As-You-Go billing after your free quota and resource packs are exhausted.
Once a service is activated, it cannot be deactivated. Any usage that exceeds your resource pack is automatically billed on a monthly Pay-As-You-Go basis. If you no longer need the service, you can avoid additional charges by stopping all API calls and use of the visual lightweight application.

Billing components
Billable usage for Alibaba Cloud Document Mind includes API calls and use of the visual lightweight application for any activated service.
For a single service, usage from API calls and the visual lightweight application is combined. A resource pack for that service covers both types of usage.
Resource packs are service-specific and cannot be shared. Usage is calculated separately for each service.
Billing cycle
Alibaba Cloud Document Mind uses a monthly billing cycle that covers a full calendar month (from 00:00:00 on the first day to 23:59:59 on the last day). Bills are generated and charges are deducted on the first day of the following month.
Overdue payments
Service suspension due to overdue payment
Your account becomes overdue if a payment deduction fails. This triggers a service suspension, and you will be notified accordingly. We will send reminders 12 hours and 23 hours after your account becomes overdue. Note that a service suspension directly affects API calls for the suspended services. Monitor your Alibaba Cloud account balance to prevent service disruptions.
Service resumption after payment
Your services resume immediately after you settle all overdue payments.
View billing information
View bill details
1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud website.
2. In the upper-right corner, hover over your profile picture or username and click Billing and Cost Management.
3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Spending -> Orders -> My Orders to view your spending details.
View call volume details
1. Log on to the Document Mind console.
2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Monitoring and Statistics. Select a service and a time range to view the call volume for that service.
3. The call volume for OCR document self-learning can only be viewed within its specific module.
