using server load balancer on alibaba cloud app
On mobile devices such as iOS and Android, you can log on to the Server Load Balancer console through the Alibaba Cloud App to view and manage Application Load Balancer (ALB), Network Load Balancer (NLB), or Classic Load Balancer (CLB) instances.
Prerequisites
Install and register the Alibaba Cloud App on your mobile device. For more information, see Log on to your account on the Alibaba Cloud App.
Create Application Load Balancer (ALB), Network Load Balancer (NLB), or Classic Load Balancer (CLB) instances on your PC. For more information, see:
Logon Entry Points
You can use the search box or the product list to find the logon portal for Server Load Balancer (SLB).
Direct Access via Search Box
Open the Alibaba Cloud app and select the Console tab.
In the search box in the top navigation bar, enter Server Load Balancer.
From the search results, navigate to the Server Load Balancer (SLB) console.
Access via Product List
Open the Alibaba Cloud app and select the Console tab.
In the upper part of the page, tap All Consoles to open the All Consoles page.
On the All Consoles page, in My Console, select Server Load Balancer (SLB).
NoteIf the Server Load Balancer (SLB) product is not available in My Console, you can find it in the Network & CDN tab or search for Server Load Balancer (SLB) directly on the home page.
Application Load Balancer (ALB)
View Instance Basic Information
Select the resource group and region of the ALB instance. From the instance list, select the target instance. Click the instance ID.
View Instance Monitoring
At the bottom of the Console tab, find the Cloud Monitor area, and click View Cloud Monitor.
On the Overview page, click the dropdown icon on the right, type Application Load Balancer in the list, and select the destination region and instance to view monitoring data.
Network Load Balancer (NLB)
View Instance Basic Information
Select the resource group and region of the NLB instance. From the instance list, select the target instance. Click the instance ID.
View Instance Monitoring
On the Console tab, find the Cloud Monitor area, and click Cloud Monitor.
On the Overview page, click the downward-pointing arrow icon on the right, enter Network Load Balancer (NLB) in the list, and select the destination region and instance to view monitoring data.
Classic Load Balancer (CLB)
View Instance Basic Information
Select the resource group and region of the CLB instance. From the instance list, select the target instance. Click the instance ID.
View Instance Monitoring
You can view CLB instance monitoring in two ways:
Method 1: View in CLB Instance Console
Select the resource group and region of the CLB instance. From the instance list, select the target instance. Click the instance ID.
Click the Instance Monitoring tab to view Server Load Balancer monitoring.
Method 2: View in Cloud Monitor Console
On the Console tab, find the Cloud Monitor area, and click Cloud Monitor.
On the Overview page, click the dropdown icon on the right, enter Server Load Balancer in the list, and select the destination region and instance to view the Server Load Balancer monitoring.
Stop Instance
Select the resource group and region of the CLB instance. From the instance list, select the target instance and stop the CLB instance.
If an instance is attached to an EIP, the attached EIP remains unchanged after the instance is stopped. However, idle instances still incur fees. For specific billing items, see Will CLB instances continue to be billed after they are stopped?.
If you do not use it for a long time, release the CLB instance as soon as possible. After you release the CLB instance, the EIP is automatically detached:
After a pay-as-you-go EIP is detached, you must still pay the EIP configuration fee. If you no longer use it, release the pay-as-you-go EIP instance yourself.
After a subscription EIP is detached, if you no longer use it, you can directly unsubscribe from the EIP instance.
Start Instance
Select the resource group and region of the CLB instance. From the instance list, select the target instance and start the CLB instance.
Access Control
Prerequisite: Create access control on your PC.
View Access Control
Select the resource group and region of the CLB instance, and click Access Control.
Delete Access Control
Select the resource group and region of the CLB instance, and click Access Control.
Select the access control to delete, and click Delete.
Add Access Control Entry
Select the resource group and region for the CLB instance, and on the Access Control tab, click the access control ID.
On the Access Control Entries page, click Add Entry.
Delete Access Control Entry
Select the resource group and region for the CLB instance, and on the Access Control tab, click the access control ID.
On the Access Control Entries page, select the entry to delete and click Delete.
