Material Hub is a central location to store and manage content in your workspace. You can group content, add tags, run compliance checks, download, comment, and share.
The following content formats are supported:
Images: JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIF, TIFF, GIF, BMP, HEIC, PIC
Videos: MP4, MOV, M4V, AVI, MKV, MGB, RMVB, RM, MPG, FLV, TS, AEP
Audio: MP3, M4A, WAV
Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, TXT, CSV, WPS, KEY, XMIND, NUMBERS, PAGES
Design source files: AI, PS, PSD, PSB, SKETCH, C4D, CRD
Others: TTF, TTC, OTF
There is no limit on the content size.
The system generates thumbnails for images, videos, and documents that meet the following conditions. These thumbnails appear in lists, on details pages, and on edit pages.
Images: JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, WebP, or TIFF format. The file size cannot exceed 20 MB. The width or height cannot exceed 30,000 pixels, and the total number of pixels cannot exceed 250 million.
Videos: H.264 or H.265 encoding format. No size limit.
Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, XLS, or XLSX format. The file size cannot exceed 50 MB.
Create content
Creating content is a two-step process: uploading the content and then adding it to the library. The same user must perform both operations.
Upload content
Go to Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > To Be Added. Alternatively, go to Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > Material Library and click Upload Content in the upper-right corner.
In the dialog box, you can upload the content file.
Upload the content file in the dialog box. The file then appears in the list on the Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > To Be Added page, as shown in the preceding figure.
If the system detects a duplicate filename, a message appears in red. Click the
icon next to the filename to rename it. Then, click anywhere else on the page to save the new name. If you do not rename the file, it will have the same name as existing content after it is added to the library.If you do not rename the content, a naming conflict will occur with an existing item in the library.
If you uploaded an incorrect file, click Delete next to it. To delete multiple files, select their checkboxes and click Delete at the bottom of the list. You can also select all files. Confirm the deletion in the dialog box that appears.
Ingested content
After you upload content, you must add it to the library to manage it.
Go to Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > To Be Added. The list shows the content files that you have uploaded but not yet added to the library.
Click Add to Library for a single content item. To add multiple items, select their checkboxes and click Add to Library at the bottom of the list. You can also select all items.

Configure permissions.
NotePermissions include the following:
View: View, share, and comment.
Download: View, share, comment, and download.
Edit/Delete: View, share, comment, delete comments, download, edit, delete, rename, add tags, change groups, view logs, and view permission configurations.
By default, all enterprise members (all users in the workspace) have View permission. You can change this to Edit/Delete or Download from the drop-down list.
To set permissions for specific users, click Edit Content Permission Scope. Select users or user groups, and then click Confirm.

The selected users or user groups are added to the permission configuration list. You can then select the required permissions for them.
NotePermission priority: Permissions set for individual users have the highest priority, followed by user group permissions, and then enterprise-wide permissions.

Configure groups. For more information about group management, see Content grouping.
If you do not configure a group, the content is added to the Ungrouped folder by default.
Click Add Content Group. In the dialog box that appears, select a group and click Confirm.

If you click Created by Me, the group list shows only the groups that you created.
To create a new group, select a group and click New Content Group. In the dialog box that appears, select whether to create a peer group or a child group, and then click Confirm. The new group is added to the group list.

AI smart tags are automatically added after the content is added to the library. You do not need to configure them manually. For more information, see AI Smart Tagging.
Configure manual tags. For more information about tag management, see Tag Management.
By default, tags marked with an asterisk (
) are displayed. These are required tags. You must select at least one tag value for each required tag, as shown in the following figure.
You can also set optional tags. Click Add Other Tags, select a tag group, tag, and tag value from the list, and then click OK.
Click Submit to complete the configuration.
The content is then added to the Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > Material Library page.
View the material library
Go to Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > Material Library to open the material library. Content that has been added to the library is displayed on the Images, Videos, Audio, Documents, Design Source Files, and Others tabs.
Workspace administrators and organization administrators have full permissions for all content. Content creators have full permissions for the content they create (your content is marked with a
icon in the lower-right corner). If you are granted any of the following permissions for a piece of content, you can view it and perform the corresponding operations:
View: View, share, and comment.
Download: View, share, comment, and download.
Edit/Delete: View, share, comment, delete comments, download, edit, delete, rename, add tags, change groups, view logs, and view permission configurations.
Above the content list, you can find features for searching, filtering, grouping, and sorting, as shown in the following figure.
You can search for content by tag, name, or ID. After entering your search term, click the Search icon to start the search.
You can filter content by the following items:
The time the content was added to the library.
The user who created the content, or the user's group.
File size. You can switch the unit between KB, MB, and GB from the drop-down list.
The status of the compliance check. A compliance check runs automatically after content is added to the library. A status icon appears before the filename. Hover over the icon to view details. For more information about compliance check rules, see Compliance checks.
The current user's permissions for the content: View, Edit/Delete, or Download.
The duration of videos and audio.
Select the View Groups checkbox. The group directory appears on the left side of the page. Click a group name to display only the content in that group, as shown in the following figure. For more information about group operations, see Content grouping.

You can sort content by the following items. All are sorted in descending order (largest to smallest, or most recent to oldest):
Time added to library
Number of views
Download size
Number of shares
File size
You can switch between tile view and list view:

View content details
Click a content tile or click Details in the list view. The details window opens. A preview of the content is on the left, and information tabs are on the right.
Different information tabs are displayed based on your permissions:
Details tab: Contains the content's compliance check status, details, group information, AI smart tags, and manual tags.
Comments tab: Displays all comments on the content. You can add your own comments at the bottom.
You can use the "@username" format to notify a user. The user receives a notification in the Message Hub in the upper-right corner of the page.

If you have Edit/Delete permission, you can delete comments. Hover over a comment, click the Delete button that appears, and then confirm the deletion.
Permissions tab: Displays the permission settings for the content.
Logs tab: Displays operation logs from the last 360 days.
Find similar images
For image content, click the Camera icon or Find Similar. The system intelligently identifies and displays similar images from the material library.
Download content
Direct download
For all content types, you can use one of two methods to download directly:
Single download: Choose
> Direct Download or More > Direct Download. The content file is downloaded to your local device.Batch download: Select the checkboxes of multiple content items and click Download at the bottom of the page. You can also select all items. The content files are downloaded to your local device.
Crop and download
You can crop a portion of an image and download it to your local device.
Choose
> Crop and Download or More > Crop and Download to go to the crop and download page.On the left, drag the mouse to define the crop area. On the right, you can set the dimensions of the crop area in pixels. Click the
icon to change it to
to lock the aspect ratio of the crop area.Click OK. A new image is generated from the cropped area and downloaded to your local device.
Grouping change content
You can change groups in two ways:
Single change: Choose
> Add to Group or More > Add to Group.Batch change: Select the checkboxes of multiple content items and click Add to Group at the bottom of the page. You can also select all items.
In the dialog box that appears, select the destination group and click Confirm.

If you click Created by Me, the group list shows only the groups that you created.
To create a new group, select a group and click New Content Group. In the dialog box that appears, select whether to create a peer group or a child group, and then click Confirm. The new group is added to the group list.

Rename content
Choose
> Rename or More > Rename. In the dialog box that appears, enter a new name and click Confirm.
Edit content
Choose
> Edit or More > Edit. The edit window opens. A preview of the content is on the left, and the content configuration is on the right.You can enter a new name and description for the content, and modify the content group and manual tag configurations. For information about modifying content groups and manual tag configurations, see Add content to the library.
AI smart tags are automatically generated based on the content. If a smart tag is not appropriate, you can remove it.
Click OK to complete the configuration.
Share content
You can share content with other users through a web link. You can set whether the recipient can edit or download the content.
To allow a recipient to edit or download content, you must have the same permissions for that content.
You can edit and download it.
Procedure:
Choose
> Share.In the dialog box that appears, select a permission setting for the share: View, Edit, or Download. Select an expiration period: 24 hours, 7 days, or Permanent.

Click Create Link to generate a shareable link, as shown in the following figure.

Send the link to other users. When a user opens the link before it expires, the content details page is displayed. The user can then view, edit, or download the content according to the permissions you set.
Content grouping
The material library supports grouping content for easier classification and management.
Select the View Groups checkbox. The group directory appears on the left side of the page. Click a group name to display only the content in that group.
Content that is not in any group is placed in the Ungrouped folder.
Up to three levels of groups are supported. Click the arrow icon next to a group name to expand or collapse its child groups.
You can use the search box above the group list to search for group names.
Add and move groups
You can add up to three levels of groups. Procedure:
Hover over any group (or All Groups). A plus icon appears, as shown in the following figure. Click the plus icon.

In the dialog box that appears, select whether the new group is a peer or child of the current group, and enter a name for the new group.
In this example, a child group named 'Asian Elephant' is created for the 'Elephant' group.

Click OK to create the group. The new group is added to the directory.

Drag a group to the desired position to change its order and level.
Rename a group
The Ungrouped folder cannot be renamed.
Procedure:
Hover over a custom group. An ellipsis (
) icon appears, as shown in the following figure. Click the ellipsis icon and select Rename from the menu that appears.
In the dialog box that appears, enter a new group name and click OK.

Delete a group
The Ungrouped folder cannot be deleted.
If a group contains content or child groups, it cannot be deleted. You must first move the content or child groups out of the group.
Procedure:
Hover over a custom group. An ellipsis (
) icon appears, as shown in the following figure. Click the ellipsis icon and select Delete from the menu that appears.
If the group does not contain content or child groups, it is deleted immediately.
If the group contains content or child groups, it cannot be deleted.
Delete content
You can delete content in two ways:
Single deletion: Choose
> Delete or More > Delete.Batch deletion: Select the checkboxes of multiple content items and click Delete at the bottom of the page. You can also select all items.
Confirm the deletion in the dialog box that appears. The content is removed from the content list and moved to the recycle bin.
Deleted content is stored in the recycle bin for up to 30 days. After 30 days, it is automatically and permanently deleted.
Manage the recycle bin
Go to Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > Recycle Bin. The recycle bin displays content that was deleted from the content list within the last 30 days.
Restore
You can restore deleted content to the content list. The original permission configurations, existing comments, and other data are retained.
You can restore content in two ways:
Single restore: Click Restore for the content item.
Batch restore: Select the checkboxes of multiple content items and click Restore at the bottom of the page. You can also select all items.
Confirm the restoration in the dialog box that appears. The content is returned to its original group in the content list.
If the original group has been deleted, the content is moved to the Ungrouped folder.
Permanently delete
If you do not want to wait 30 days for automatic deletion, you can manually and permanently delete the content.
You can permanently delete content in two ways:
Single permanent deletion: Click Permanently Delete for the content item and confirm the deletion in the dialog box that appears.
Batch permanent deletion: Select the checkboxes of multiple content items, click Permanently Delete at the bottom of the page, and confirm the deletion in the dialog box that appears. You can also select all items.
Empty the recycle bin
If you do not want to wait 30 days for automatic deletion, you can also empty the recycle bin to permanently delete all its content.
Click Empty Recycle Bin in the upper-right corner of the page and confirm the deletion in the dialog box that appears.
