Create content

Creating content is a two-step process: uploading the content and then adding it to the library. The same user must perform both operations.

Upload content

  1. Go to Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > To Be Added. Alternatively, go to Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > Material Library and click Upload Content in the upper-right corner.

  2. In the dialog box, you can upload the content file.

Upload the content file in the dialog box. The file then appears in the list on the Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > To Be Added page, as shown in the preceding figure.

  3. If the system detects a duplicate filename, a message appears in red. Click the image icon next to the filename to rename it. Then, click anywhere else on the page to save the new name. If you do not rename the file, it will have the same name as existing content after it is added to the library.

If you do not rename the content, a naming conflict will occur with an existing item in the library.

  4. If you uploaded an incorrect file, click Delete next to it. To delete multiple files, select their checkboxes and click Delete at the bottom of the list. You can also select all files. Confirm the deletion in the dialog box that appears.

Ingested content

After you upload content, you must add it to the library to manage it.

  1. Go to Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > To Be Added. The list shows the content files that you have uploaded but not yet added to the library.

  2. Click Add to Library for a single content item. To add multiple items, select their checkboxes and click Add to Library at the bottom of the list. You can also select all items.image

  3. Configure permissions.

    Note

    Permissions include the following:

    • View: View, share, and comment.

    • Download: View, share, comment, and download.

    • Edit/Delete: View, share, comment, delete comments, download, edit, delete, rename, add tags, change groups, view logs, and view permission configurations.

    1. By default, all enterprise members (all users in the workspace) have View permission. You can change this to Edit/Delete or Download from the drop-down list.

    2. To set permissions for specific users, click Edit Content Permission Scope. Select users or user groups, and then click Confirm.image.png

The selected users or user groups are added to the permission configuration list. You can then select the required permissions for them.

      Note

Permission priority: Permissions set for individual users have the highest priority, followed by user group permissions, and then enterprise-wide permissions.

  4. Configure groups. For more information about group management, see Content grouping.

    • If you do not configure a group, the content is added to the Ungrouped folder by default.

    • Click Add Content Group. In the dialog box that appears, select a group and click Confirm.

      image

If you click Created by Me, the group list shows only the groups that you created.

To create a new group, select a group and click New Content Group. In the dialog box that appears, select whether to create a peer group or a child group, and then click Confirm. The new group is added to the group list.

  5. AI smart tags are automatically added after the content is added to the library. You do not need to configure them manually. For more information, see AI Smart Tagging.

  6. Configure manual tags. For more information about tag management, see Tag Management.

By default, tags marked with an asterisk (image) are displayed. These are required tags. You must select at least one tag value for each required tag, as shown in the following figure.image

You can also set optional tags. Click Add Other Tags, select a tag group, tag, and tag value from the list, and then click OK.

  7. Click Submit to complete the configuration.

The content is then added to the Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > Material Library page.

Go to Workspace > Content Marketing > Material Hub > Material Library to open the material library. Content that has been added to the library is displayed on the Images, Videos, Audio, Documents, Design Source Files, and Others tabs.

Workspace administrators and organization administrators have full permissions for all content.
