Causes
Your renewal may fail for one of the following reasons. Find your issue below and follow the corresponding solution.
1. You are not logged in with the Alibaba Cloud main account used to purchase the Alibaba Mail instance.
2. Your Alibaba Mail instance expired more than 30 days ago.
3. You purchased your Alibaba Mail instance from a reseller.
4. Your Alibaba Cloud account has an insufficient prepayment balance.
5. The renewal is blocked because your Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue bill.
Solutions
For Cause 1:
Log in to the Alibaba Cloud console with the account that you used to purchase the instance and complete the renewal.
If you do not remember the account, you can click here to retrieve it by entering your Alibaba Mail domain name.
For Cause 2:
You must manually renew the instance within 30 days of its expiration date. After 30 days, the service is permanently deleted. If your service has been deleted, you must purchase a new one.

For Cause 3:
If you purchased your Alibaba Mail instance from a reseller, you cannot use the Alibaba Cloud console to manage or renew it.
To ensure uninterrupted service, contact your reseller to complete the renewal before the instance expires.
For Cause 4:
Ensure that your account has a sufficient balance.
If you cannot pay directly online, top up your Alibaba Cloud account and then try to renew. For instructions, see Top up an Alibaba Cloud account.
For Cause 5:
If your Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue bill, the system automatically blocks renewal payments. Log in to Billing Management to view your bill details. After you settle the overdue bill, try renewing again. For top-up instructions, see the solution for Cause 4 or Top up an Alibaba Cloud account.
