Create a Domain Shop to showcase, promote, and sell your domain names from a central storefront.
What is a Domain Shop
A Domain Shop is a dedicated storefront with a unique URL for sellers to display all their domains for sale. You can market your Domain Shop independently to increase sales.
Your Domain Shop page displays store information, such as your membership level, shop age, and shop name. It features powerful search and filtering tools, allowing potential buyers to find domain names by keyword, suffix, composition, length, price range, registration date, or expiration date. Search results are listed with details like the domain name, price, attributes, length, registration date, and days to expiration, and include a Buy Now option.
The URL for your shop follows this format: https://mi.aliyun.com/shop/Your_Shop_ID. The shop ID is a unique five-digit number that identifies your Domain Shop.
Before you begin

Each Alibaba Cloud account can have only one Domain Shop. Before you start, you must complete real-name verification and Alipay account binding.

After your Domain Shop is created, it is accessible via its URL or through links on the domain details page and in the shopping cart.
Create a Domain Shop
When you create a Domain Shop, the platform automatically adds a link to your storefront on the domain details page and in the shopping cart for any domain name you list for sale. This link directs buyers to your shop. If you disable your shop, the link is hidden. Follow these steps to create your Domain Shop:

Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Domains console. In the left-side navigation pane, click .

Select the checkbox to accept the Terms of Service, then click Create Domain Shop.
If you have not completed the required real-name verification or Alipay account binding, you will be prompted to do so. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.

Configure the basic settings for your Domain Shop.

shop ID: The system automatically assigns this ID, and you cannot change it.

shop name: Do not include contact information or website URLs in your shop name.

shop logo: Click the image to upload your shop logo.

Enable Shop: Choose whether to make your shop public. If disabled, your Domain Shop is inaccessible via its URL. You can enable or disable your shop at any time after creating it.

Hide Shop: Choose whether to display your shop ID in your domain sale listings.
If you enable this option, the shop ID column in domain trading search results will display as -- for your listings.

Shop Duration: Choose whether to display how long your shop has been open.

Shop Level: Choose whether to display your shop level. Your shop level is the same as your Alibaba Cloud Domains membership level. To check your level, log on to your Alibaba Cloud account and click View Level.

After completing and submitting the form, your Domain Shop is created.
Your Domain Shop will display your domains for sale, such as fixed-price domains and bargain domains. If you create a shop but do not list any domains for sale, the domain list in your shop will be empty.
Comparison of Domain Shop and Domain Trading homepage
A Domain Shop displays all domains for sale from a single seller. In contrast, the Domain Trading homepage displays domains for sale from all sellers. A Domain Shop is a subset of the Domain Trading homepage. The domain names displayed in your shop and on the homepage are synchronized. If a domain name is unlisted or removed, the system removes it from both your Domain Shop and the Domain Trading homepage simultaneously.
Penalties for policy violations
Yes, policy violations will result in penalties. Alibaba Cloud monitors for violations through user reports and internal platform checks. If Alibaba Cloud finds that your Domain Shop violates our policies, for example, by uploading an illegal logo or using a shop name that infringes on third-party rights, Alibaba Cloud will forcibly suspend it. To lift the suspension, you must correct the violation, submit an appeal, and pass a review by Alibaba Cloud.
If the associated Alibaba Cloud account is penalized (for example, suspended or frozen), Alibaba Cloud also forcibly closes the Domain Shop.
