    2. Go to Manage > Preferences > Graphics and select Fluency First mode.

    3. Go to Manage > Preferences > Controls and enable cursor capture. When enabled, the cursor is confined to the cloud computer window, which ensures that in-game camera rotation works as expected.

  3. Double-click the WeGame client on the desktop and log in to your WeGame account.

  4. In the application list on the left, click Black Myth: Wukong, and then click Launch in the lower-right corner.

    Note

If the game client prompts you to update the game, this means that the cloud computer's image is outdated. To avoid downloading the update inside the cloud computer, change the image to the latest version instead. For specific steps, see Change the image for a cloud computer.

    Important

When you are done playing, shut down the cloud computer to stop billing. Merely disconnecting from it does not shut it down; it will remain running and continue to incur charges.

FAQ

Purchase and configuration

Cloud computer package

Personal Edition cloud computers are available on a subscription basis with a one-month billing cycle. The following subscription models are supported:

  • One-time purchase: A single one-month subscription.

  • Auto-renewal subscription: You pay only for the first month when you place the order. Subsequent monthly fees are automatically deducted from your Alipay account.

Personal Edition cloud computers offer various subscription packages. The main differences between packages are disk capacity and the number of included Wuying Lingdou.

What is Wuying Lingdou?

A Wuying Core Hour is the standard unit for measuring resource usage by cloud computers and cloud games. The consumption rate, which is the number of Wuying Core Hours used per hour, varies based on the running mode of the cloud computer or the type of cloud game.

Required configuration

  • Cloud computer package: The package determines the disk space and the number of Wuying Lingdou for your cloud computer. Because the game files require at least 120 GiB of data disk space, you must choose the Platinum, Titanium, or Black Gold package.

  • Cloud computer specification mode: This determines the computing power of your cloud computer. Each time you start your cloud computer, you can select the specification mode for that session. You must select Gaming Mode to play this game.

Package and instance specification

A cloud computer package determines the disk space and the number of Wuying Lingdou, but it does not directly correspond to an instance specification. Each time you start your cloud computer, you must select a specification mode, which determines the computing specifications for that session.

Availability of Gaming Mode

Gaming Mode uses GPU resources, which have limited availability due to high demand. Individual reservations are not supported at this time.

Upgrade package

If your cloud computer package's disk capacity or network bandwidth does not meet your needs, you can upgrade the package or network bandwidth.

Important

If you have an auto-renewal subscription, subsequent renewals will be based on the upgraded package.

Alipay/WeChat mini program

  1. Search for and open the Wuying Cloud Computer mini program in Alipay or WeChat.

  2. On the Cloud Computer tab, click the Settings icon in the lower-right corner of the cloud computer card.

  3. On the Manage page, click Change Package/Network on the Billing Information tab at the bottom.

  4. On the Change Package or Change Network tab, select a new package or network bandwidth, and then click Confirm Order.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.

Windows/macOS client

  1. Open the client and log in to Personal Edition.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Personal Cloud Computer.

  3. On the card of the cloud computer you want to upgrade, click Manage.

  4. In the Package panel, click Change Package/Network in the Billing Information section.

  5. On the Change Package or Change Network tab, select a new package or network bandwidth, agree to the terms, and then click Place Order Now.

  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.

Android client

  1. Open the client and log in to the Personal Edition.

  2. On the cloud computer card, tap Manage.

  3. On the Package tab, tap Change Package/Network in the Billing Information section.

  4. On the Change Package/Network screen, select a new package or network bandwidth, and then tap Confirm Order.

Runtime from package Lingdou

The runtime depends on the cloud computer's specification mode, which determines its computing resources (vCPU, memory, and video memory). You can select a specification mode each time you start the cloud computer.

  • The hourly consumption rate of Wuying Lingdou varies by specification mode:

    • Economy Mode: 4 Wuying Lingdou/hour.

    • Smooth Mode: 8 Wuying Lingdou/hour.

    • Performance Mode: 16 Wuying Lingdou/hour.

    • Gaming Mode: 60 Wuying Lingdou/hour.

  • The base Wuying Lingdou in each subscription package provides the following approximate runtime in Gaming Mode:

    • Platinum: Includes 160 Wuying Lingdou per subscription cycle (1 month), allowing for about 2.6 hours of runtime.

    • Titanium: Includes 320 Wuying Lingdou per subscription cycle (1 month), allowing for about 5.3 hours of runtime.

    • Black Gold: Includes 640 Wuying Lingdou per subscription cycle (1 month), allowing for about 10.6 hours of runtime.

To ensure you have enough time to fully enjoy the game, consider purchasing a Shared Wuying Lingdou Pack. For more information, see Types and Pricing.

Running out of package Lingdou

If the Wuying Lingdou included in your package are insufficient for your needs, we recommend purchasing a Shared Wuying Lingdou Pack to extend your cloud computer's runtime cost-effectively. For more information, see Types and Pricing.

Wuying Lingdou Pack

A Wuying Core Hour package is a bundle that contains a specific number of Wuying Core Hours. The Wuying Core Hours in a package can be used for all subscription-based cloud computers (excluding duration pack cloud computers) and cloud games under your account.

A Wuying Core Hour package has a fixed validity period. Any unused Wuying Core Hours will expire at the end of this period.

If you run out of Wuying Core Hours included in your cloud computer plan before the plan expires, your cloud computer shuts down. To continue using it, you can either wait for your quota to reset in the next billing cycle or purchase a Wuying Core Hour package to resume use immediately.

Unlike cloud computers, cloud games do not require a plan purchase. You can run them directly by using the Wuying Core Hours from a Wuying Core Hour package.

Personal Edition: Do cloud computers support upgrading individual configurations, such as bandwidth or disk?

Purchase limit

Possible reasons include:

  • You have reached the purchase limit. You can own a maximum of five personal cloud computers. If you previously redeemed a cloud computer with Yingzuan, this limit also includes deleted cloud computers in the mini program's recycle bin.

  • You have unpaid orders. In this case, please complete the payment as soon as possible.

Change cloud computer image

For example, you can change your cloud computer's image if you want to switch from the Steam version to the WeGame version, or vice versa. For specific instructions, see Install games on your cloud computer.

Gameplay and experience

Game stuck on first Steam launch

This happens because the image used to create the cloud computer contains an older version of the game. It needs to compile shaders on the first launch, which takes about 10 minutes. This is a one-time configuration process required by the game itself and cannot be skipped. The cloud computer image has since been updated, and the new version removes the shader compilation step from the game. We recommend changing your cloud computer's image to the latest version. For specific instructions, see Install games on your cloud computer.

D3D11-compatible GPU error

If you see this error when you launch the game, it means your cloud computer is not in Gaming Mode and therefore lacks the required GPU resources. Restart the cloud computer and select Gaming Mode.

WeGame prompts to download game

If your cloud computer uses an image with the game pre-installed, you do not need to download it again. Instead, follow these steps to add the game application from the data disk to the client's list of recognized applications.

  1. In the WeGame client, click your profile picture in the upper-right corner and select All Apps.

  2. Click the icon in the upper-left corner and select Add App Manually in the dialog box.

  3. In the Select Folder window, open the folder where the game application is located, D:\WeGameApps\rail_apps\BlackMythWukong(2002122), and then click Select Folder in the lower-right corner of the window.

Game client requires update

This may be because the image used to create your cloud computer contains an older version of the game. Change the image to the latest version to avoid downloading in-game updates. For specific instructions, see Install games on your cloud computer.

Game lag or poor performance

High-quality graphics and high frame rates require significant local network bandwidth. If you experience game lag, you can try the following steps to improve performance:

  1. On the cloud computer desktop, click the floating ball, select Manage > Preferences > Display, and lower the resolution. We recommend a setting of 1920×1080.

  2. On the cloud computer desktop, click the floating ball, select Manage > Preferences > Graphics, and select the Prioritize Fluency mode.

  3. Disable ray tracing in the in-game settings.

Losing game saves on shutdown

Game saves will not be lost after shutdown as long as they are saved to the cloud computer's disk.

The Steam client also offers a cloud sync feature. If enabled, this feature synchronizes your saves to the cloud. Before you start the game, check the cloud sync status.

Cannot re-select Gaming Mode

Go to the Wuying Client Download Page to download the latest version. For the Windows client or macOS client, ensure you have version V7.5 or later.

Gamepad not working

Cloud computers support only specific gamepad models. For detailed information about gamepad compatibility, see Configure a game controller.

Mouse issues in macOS client

Go to the Wuying Client Download Page to download the latest version. For the Windows client or macOS client, ensure you have version V7.5 or later.

Client

Multi-device login

You can connect to a cloud computer using the Wuying client or mini programs:

  • Windows client (v6.6 or later)

  • macOS client (v6.6 or later)

  • Web client

  • Android client (v6.1 or later)

  • iOS client (v6.1 or later)

  • Alipay mini program

  • WeChat mini program

To use a client, go to the Wuying client download page. To use a mini program, search for it within Alipay or WeChat.

Cloud computer not visible in client

This may be because your Wuying client is outdated. Go to the Wuying Client Download Page to download the latest version.

Shutdown vs. hibernation

When you shut down a cloud computer, any unsaved data is lost. Hibernation, however, saves all files and processes. When you wake the cloud computer, you can resume from the state it was in before hibernation.

Note

Gaming Mode does not support hibernation. Economy Mode, Smooth Mode, and Performance Mode support hibernation.
