This topic describes how to connect to a rendering application.
Prerequisites
Make sure that you have activated Graphic Computing Service (GCS). For more information, see Activate a service.Connection process
The following figure shows the connection process.

Manage applications
- Log on to the GCS console.
- Create an application.
- In the navigation pane on the left, click Application Management.
- On the Application Management page, click Create Application.
- In the Create application dialog box, enter an Application name and set Application type to Rendering applications.
- Click OK.
- Upload an application version.For more information, see Step 2: Upload an application version.
- Adapt the application.For more information, see Step 3: Adapt the application.
Associate an application with a project
- In the navigation pane on the left, click Project Management.
- On the Project Management page, click Create Project.
- In the Create Project dialog box, enter a Project Name, select an Associated Application, and configure the related properties.Note The resource quota is the upper limit of resources in each region. By default, the quota is 200 sessions per region. You can change the resource quota as needed.
- Click OK.
Start the rendering application
You must first reserve resources by calling an API operation, and then start a rendering session.
