Manage subscription resources
After you purchase prepaid cloud resources or services on Alibaba Cloud, you can use My Subscriptions to manage all your subscriptions, including renewing, unsubscribing, and viewing usage details.
What is a subscription?
A subscription is a prepaid purchasing model that lets you purchase cloud services for a fixed period at a lower price, reducing your costs. It includes the following types:
Type |
Description |
Typical products |
Instance-bound subscription (subscription) |
You prepay for the use of a resource for a fixed period, such as one year. This model offers a lower unit price and greater cost savings by locking in a specific cloud resource configuration for the subscription term. |
Single-resource deduction subscription (resource pack) |
You prepay for a specific amount of resource usage at a discounted rate. During its validity period, the resource pack offsets charges for your pay-as-you-go resources. |
Cross-resource deduction subscription (Savings Plan) |
You commit to a specific amount of spending over a term, such as one or three years. In return, your pay-as-you-go usage for eligible resources is billed at a discounted rate and deducted from your commitment. |
Software Service Subscription |
You prepay to use a software service for a fixed term. |
