The mobile client (Android client/iOS client) supports transferring files by sharing, uploading, and downloading.

Important

The examples in this topic are based on the iOS client V7.7 and the Enterprise Edition. If your experience differs from the description in this topic, you may be using a different client or an outdated version. Upgrade to the latest version.

Prerequisites

  • Log on to the mobile client. For more information, see Log on to the mobile client.

  • Ensure you have an available cloud computer. If you do not have a cloud computer after you log on, contact your IT administrator to assign one to you. For more information, see Assign cloud computers to users.

Transfer local files to a cloud computer

You can transfer local files to a cloud computer by sharing or uploading them.

Share

Minimum client version: V7.1.

  1. In your photo album or file management app, open an image or file and tap Share.

  2. In the panel that appears, select Wuying Workspace.

  3. On the Cloud resources screen, select a destination cloud computer.

The cloud computer automatically saves the shared image or file to the Downloads folder.

Upload

Minimum client version: V7.4.

  1. Connect to your cloud computer.

  2. Open DesktopAssistant and tap File transfer.

  3. In the panel that appears, tap Upload.

  4. In the Upload file dialog box, select the type of file to upload, such as Photos/Videos. Then, select the photos or videos that you want to upload.

  5. You can view the file transfer progress in the dialog box.

    Note

    The cloud computer saves the uploaded files to the Downloads folder.

Download files from a cloud computer

You can download files from a cloud computer to your local device. This feature requires client version V7.4 or later.

  1. Connect to your cloud computer.

  2. Open DesktopAssistant and tap File transfer.

  3. In the panel that appears, tap Download.

  4. In the file manager window that opens on the cloud computer, select the file that you want to download and click Open.

  5. On your local device, select a save location and click Save.

Background transfer mode

If you close the dialog box before the file transfer is complete, the transfer continues in the background, allowing you to use your cloud computer. This feature requires client version V8.0 or later.

While the transfer is in progress, you can tap File transfer in the DesktopAssistant menu to view its progress.
