The mobile client supports two keyboard types: the device-cloud synergy keyboard and the virtual keyboard. The virtual keyboard provides access to a virtual function keyboard and common shortcuts.

Important

The examples in this topic are based on the iOS client V7.7 and the Enterprise Edition. If your experience differs from the description in this topic, you may be using a different client or an outdated version. Upgrade to the latest version.

Prerequisites

  • You have logged on to the mobile client. For instructions, see Log on to the mobile client.

  • You have an assigned cloud computer. If no cloud computer is available after you log on, contact your IT administrator to assign one to you. For more information, see Add users to a cloud computer.

Device-cloud synergy keyboard

The device-cloud synergy keyboard lets you use your local device's input method, and the text appears on the cloud computer in real time. You can configure it to open automatically in editing mode, or open it manually at any time.

Note

Starting with version V7.7, the device-cloud synergy keyboard is not supported when a physical keyboard is connected to your mobile device.
