Free quotas
This topic describes the free quotas for Alibaba Cloud Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and how to use them.
After you activate an OCR service, you receive a free quota of calls. You can use this quota to make free calls to OCR API operations. After the free quota is used up, you are charged on a pay-as-you-go basis or your usage is deducted from a resource plan.

Commercial billing for Document and ticket information extraction, Table information extraction, and Long document information extraction started on August 23.
The following features in OCR Document Auto-Learning each have a one-time free quota of 500 calls: Custom key-value template, Custom table template with reference and recognition fields, Document and ticket information extraction, Table information extraction, Long document information extraction, and Pre-built capabilities. The free quota cannot be transferred to other products.
The free quota is a one-time offer provided after you activate the service. It is not a monthly recurring quota.
The free quota can be used for API calls and light application page views.
After you publish an OCR Document Auto-Learning template, you can use the free quota for API calls and online use.
The free quota is consumed only by successful calls.
Alibaba Cloud reserves the right to suspend the free quota in cases of fraudulent or prohibited use.
