Billable items

Intelligent Media Service (IMS) features fall into three main categories: intelligent media assets, intelligent media production, and media processing.

• Starting August 20, 2024, intelligent media assets and intelligent media production will move to subscription-based billing. You must purchase an Enterprise Subscription Service to use these features. For details on subscription pricing, usage discounts, feature availability, and renewal policies, see "Subscription-based billing".

• By default, usage of media processing is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. If you purchase an Enterprise Subscription Service or a Subscription Top-up Package, you can also use it to cover media processing usage. Different prepaid package tiers offer different discount rates.

  Note

  After this model launches, you may not be able to use the subscription-based features if you do not purchase a subscription. We recommend choosing a plan that meets your needs to ensure uninterrupted service.

[Enterprise Subscription Service]

To meet different user needs, three subscription editions are available: Basic Edition, Standard Edition, and Flagship Edition. Each edition differs in price, usage discount, and available features.

[Monthly Feature Trial Package]

To let new users and users on lower-tier Enterprise Subscription Service plans try new IMS features, each account can purchase one Monthly Feature Trial Package per month.

• Applicable scope

  The Monthly Feature Trial Package applies to all Intelligent Media Service (IMS) features (excluding dedicated customer support and the advanced video editing effects package; additionally, intelligent search is billed separately).

• Quota consumption

  You can purchase the Monthly Feature Trial Package once per month. The package amount is fixed at 20 CNY. This quota is consumed based on your actual usage.

• Action upon quota depletion

  The Monthly Feature Trial Package does not offer a usage discount. When the quota is depleted or the package expires, access to the associated services is suspended. To continue using IMS features, purchase the corresponding Enterprise Subscription Service.

• Pay-as-you-go notes

  If other billing methods, resource packages, or pay-as-you-go services are also enabled for your account, you may incur additional charges. The charges displayed in the console are final.

[Subscription Top-up Package]

If you deplete the included quota of your Enterprise Subscription Service before it expires, you can purchase a Subscription Top-up Package to add more capacity. You can purchase a package with a value ranging from 200 to 100,000 CNY. Different purchase amounts provide different usage discounts, and the package can be used to cover all IMS features.

Enterprise Subscription Service: Replenishment Policy

After your subscription capacity is exhausted, you can choose from three options to continue using the service during your membership period:

• Pay-as-you-go (default): Billed for usage at the official website price.

• Renew your membership to reset your capacity and extend its validity period. For example, if your Enterprise Standard Edition expires on May 14, 2025:

  • If you renew with a monthly plan for the Enterprise Standard Edition at 17:00 on April 27, 2025, your membership is valid until 17:00 on May 27, 2025.

  • If you renew with an annual plan for the Enterprise Standard Edition at 17:00 on April 27, 2025, your membership is valid until 17:00 on April 27, 2026.

    Important

    The new validity period starts from the renewal date, not from the previous expiration date.

• Purchase a Subscription Top-up Package. This package can be used during your subscription's validity period.

Enterprise Subscription Service: Modify specifications

Enterprise Subscription Service customers cannot currently upgrade or downgrade configurations.

If your feature requirements change, you need to subscribe to a new version of the Enterprise Subscription Service. The complimentary capacity included with the new subscription takes effect immediately. Any complimentary capacity from previous subscriptions can still be used for deductions and will be used first.

In a mixed case of Enterprise Subscriptions and customer-purchased Subscription Top-up Packages, deductions are made in order of expiration date.

In a mixed scenario involving Enterprise Edition Subscriptions, customer-purchased Subscription Top-up Packages, and resource packages purchased by historical users, resource packages are deducted first. Then, Enterprise Edition Subscriptions or Subscription Top-up Packages are deducted in order of their expiration dates.

About discounts

Assume you have subscribed to the Enterprise Standard Edition and receive a 40% discount. If the charges for a feature in IMS are 100 yuan, the actual amount charged is 60 yuan = 100 yuan × 0.6.

Gift with Purchase

If you purchase a specified amount of Intelligent Media Service (IMS) resources within one year, you will receive a complimentary Player SDK of a specific edition. For more information, see Free Gift with Purchase.
