Scale out CloudBox

You can separately increase compute, storage, and network resources for a CloudBox.

  • Compute resources: Purchase compute stock keeping units (SKUs), compute expansion packages, and Service-Level Agreement (SLA) value-added service packages.

    • Compute SKUs: Purchase new compute SKUs to scale out compute resources by adding full racks.

    • Compute expansion packages: Upgrade the original compute SKUs to scale out compute resources within an existing rack.

    • SLA value-added service packages: Purchase value-added service packages to provide SLA guarantees for compute resources.

  • Storage resources: Expand the storage capacity of your existing storage resources. When you scale up Elastic Block Storage (EBS), the storage class must be the same as the original one.

  • Network resources: Purchase a local Express Connect bandwidth expansion package to increase the network bandwidth between the CloudBox and your on-premises devices.
